They Do Not conflict with each other, and Windows 10 does take care of the drivers nicely. Along with any specialty programs they may have preinstalled on your system Sound Audio drivers Etc.

HP of course recommends that you keep the HP support assistant I'm so that you can receive any updates that HP issues as soon as they are issued ultimately it is up to you whether or not you wish to keep an eye out I know of many users, myself included who use only Windows update and once in a while if I need to I will manually update a driver by downloading it from the HP website.

Let Windows manage your system updates, including drivers, in any case, once HP stop supporting your model of PC, HP Support Assist will be redundant anyway HP has the worst track record for installing bloatware on their new PC's, most users remove all the HP utilities, because they will never ever use them.

Leprechaun J. I Hope This Helps You Entegy Volunteer Moderator. Windows will take care of a lot of drivers, but there are some things that HP doesn't put up on Windows Update. And for firmware updates, those go through the HP Support Assistant so if you don't want to be checking HP's website manually for firmware updates, the Support Assistant is handy.
